I Cant Get Redirect To Work On Godaddy

    i cant get a redirect to work on godaddy. i want it to from

    http://thenotablenook.com/phpBB3/index.php

    to

    http://thenotablenook.com

    do i have anything wrong

    All you need to do is move the files in the /phpBB3 folder to the public_html folder.

    i dont have a public folder

    by default 2013-10-19 at 7.34.37 AM.jpg

    my forum goes to phpbb3, if i move it it wont work will it

    It will work if the files are in the root directory.

    1) Open the phpBB3 folder'
    2) Select all contents in the phpBB3 folder'
    3) Click and Drag to your Root directory.For you its called "Webroot" as shown in the picture.

    After this is done you should be able to see your forum without having to access the phpBB3 folder and you will see your domain as you wanted. The only time you would want to use a folder is if you have a landing page/front page etc that will lead to your forums. I hope you understand what I'm saying.

    P.S You do not need to use redirect anymore once this has been done.
