I Can't get my campaigns to "Kick In".

I have set up a few Adword campaigns, have decent bid amounts for my KW's, the ads are approved and active, but I'm not getting any impression / click / position data. A couple have been showing "active" for days now, with nothing. What do I need to do to get these things going? I've used Adwords in the past and have gotten ads showing without a problem.

Sometimes google will review your ad for a long time...

Maybe google doesn't agree that your bid amounts are decent. Have you advertised in this niche before? Sometimes bidding high, to get it going, then backing off slowly (after establishing a CTR) can help you get things going.

i had this same problem today, i had to increase my bid amount by half.
It seems Adwords raise the price of there keywords recently.

    This isn't good at all.

A couple of things... you may want to review your keywords and see whether you've "spread the net" wide enough.

Also stick your keywords into the Ads Diagnostic Tool (under the Tools menu in your AdWords account) and it will usually tell you what the problem is, eg. budget too low, competing ad with the same URL, etc.

you could be under a manual review.

They finally got rocking...I just bumped the bids up a bit and that seemed to get things rolling. I adjusted the bids back down and they still have decent ad positions. CTR is another story though. Thanks for the tips.

How long ago did you set them up? Also...make sure that your 'Date Range' in the upper right is set for "Today"...that way you make sure that your looking at current statistics.

when your ads aren't showing they are doing a manual review of your account, sometimes it takes a week.
so you might not see any impressions any time soon

    @ christian & perfection007

I got few impressions but they disapproved all my Ads immediately with the reason : Inaccurate Display URL.

My site name is test.com and I am using test.com/search.html for the Ad's Destination URL.

When a user clicks on my ad(i.e on test.com/search.html), I am redirecting the user directly to Affiate's page. Is this kind of redirection not allowed.

    please explain.

The destination url is supposed to be your actual location the user is sent to, not just site name.
