There was a beautiful Vietnamese woman, near the edge of the pond, gracefully feeding the swans, her Ao Dai blowing softly in the gentle breeze. She seemed to possess a beauty and innocence about her, like no other. When she looked up, she saw me looking toward her. She smiled gently, then shyly looked away. Wanting to meet her, I walked to the end of the bridge, and down the narrow path to the pond below. Only to find she was gone. How could a woman I have never met capture my heart so? I must find her, I will find her... Tên tôi là William and this is...“hà nh trình tôi tình yêuâ€

About Me:
My life is a constantly evolving adventure. I am always, moving forward, experiencing new things, and achieving new levels. I believe life's best memories are made when you step outside your "comfort zone" and try new things. I've did many things, including, skiing on some of the steepest slopes in Colorado, climbing a mountain, and white water rafting down a raging class five river. Last year during the holiday season, I even braved the "Mall of America" (Largest shopping mall in the US), and I didn't even get lost. I am a certified scuba diver, and I love all the usual guy things. I also find adventure with my career as a professional driver. I have traveled to every state in the US, and am constantly seeing and experiencing new things. My latest adventure is riding a Yamaha-R1 motorcycle, with a top speed of 190mph/306kph. Care to go for a ride? :0) My future one, of course, is spending some time in Vietnam. I want to sight see, meet some people, and make some new friends. Hopefully, you get the chance, to make the journey with me, to the Chua Huong (Perfume Pagoda) temple. Please tell me some of your adventures? Unless there like, really boring... Yawn!...
I have a BS degree in Business/Marketing and I am a member of "Phi Eta Sigma" the National Freshman Honor Society, along with being a member of the "International High IQ Society". I love business, and I have my own small business, I run as a hobby.
The two most important people in my life right now are my two grown children, a son and a daughter, both from my previous marriage. Even though I stay busy most of the time, I always make sure, I take time out to help people, and spend time with my family and friends.
My main goals are, learn to speak Vietnamese, and spend more time traveling outside the country. Oops... I almost forgot one, to also meet someone special from Vietnam. : )

My Perception of an Ideal Relationship:
Is a relationship where we think as one, yet we are two separate individuals. Where we can be ourselves around each other without being judged. One where we know the work is all worth it, making us both grow to be better and stronger people. And one where companionship, generosity and unconditional love, grants us the foundation for a long lasting relationship.

About the One I'm Looking For:
You are a beautiful Vietnamese woman, who fills my heart with love and kindness, making me smile whenever I think of you. You believe in marriage, and you are faithful, loyal, and devoted to both your family and me. You enjoy helping others, and believe everyone deserves to be respected. I think it's cute when you chase me out of the kitchen, and when, you make fun of me whenever I try to speak Vietnamese. I go to the jewelry store and buy you the $1500.00 bracelet you so adored, but were too shy to tell me. You make me want to be a better person. There is nothing I won't do for you, because of the way you make me feel inside. "Except hold your purse in a store" : ) You love to laugh, and you love to make me laugh.

Now, it's your turn to tell me, a little about yourself...

I will be leaving soon on my trip to Vietnam. If you have a friend or relative there, who would like to contact me. Please have her use either one of the addresses below.

Contact Me:
william@viet-friends.us
William Gagnon, P.O. It's expected to be a fairly large event with Tú Quyên being the featured performer there. If anyone is aware of any other events going on around the country just send me the info and you never know, you just might see me there.

Learning Vietnamese,
One day I decided it would be a good idea to learn Vietnamese. After all, I am going to meet a Vietnamese woman someday, and I think it would be easier for both of us if I learned a little. Not to mention the hours of entertainment she will have listening to me try to pronounce the words right. The part I find most enjoyable is trying to distinguish the differences between the Northern and Southern dialects. It seems most of the learning programs are using the Northern, while most of the people in the US speak using the Southern; I bet you already knew that. So, after a few months of study, I decided to go down to the local nail salon which is Vietnamese owned. This way I can impress them with my new knowledge of the Vietnamese language. Let's just say they giggled a lot and said something to each other real fast in Vietnamese, I could not understand but, I think they were saying how impressed they were with me : ) I came in about a month later and one of the owners said to me Chà o ban, I said what? Chà o bà , did you just say hello elderly lady? He said no I said hello friend. Oh-no! Back to the study guide.

William Gagnon © 2008 All Rights Reserved / View My Pics

Code (markup):
