maybe your homepage does not have real content, or just a redirect or something

Without knowing your url... it is impossible to ascertain the true reasons for your main page not getting indexed and members here would be just left guessing.

If you can include your site url even in your signature here, I think google would index the same... pretty quickly! :)

For Google, Homepages are often indexed even it it doesn't have any content.
Since he has other pages indexed, then it doesn't have anything to do with the hosting.
Being sandboxed doesn't mean you're deindexed, but means you're not showing in search results.
Hah, I'm sure he wants to, However, still didn't reach the minimum post count to have a signature.

    -----------

Alright, I've had the same issue twice now. The common thing between these 2 times was doing extreme changes to the theme and coding structure.

    1. Do a 'site' search to make sure its not there. (Assuming you didn't)
    2. Submit a sitemap to GWMT
    3. Check your robots.txt file and make sure you're not blocking your home page.

    Good luck

You have to put the Google sitemaps of all pages of website. As you told us it may be happened when Google visit all sites, it did not find any good content in your homepage. Next time, your website homepage will indexed by Google search engines.
