I can't believe this guys! My friend has a link to her blog, in the site that pops up as the first result in google's search results, when searching for a very strong keyword. Yet, she still hasn't got even one visitor to her blog from this special linkback. Ok everyone, the keyword is "make money online".. and yes the first site has lots of links in the template/homepage, but still.... I hardly believe that for a whole month she got no visits from this site..... Am I missing on something here?!
That site is icky... Also, why is she dishing out advice on how to make money if she can't get traffic to her own blog??
Am I missing something? I can't find her link anywhere on the BidVertiser homepage. Also, are you sure that your friend isn't you?
This is not the point... we are talking about traffic from THIS site, and not overall traffic is zero.... besides no matter how "icky" this site might look like, it still ranks no.1 for that very keyphrase, and should drive some traffic to sites it's linking to.
Ok then, it's the one below bidvertiser... I think it dropped to no.2 now..... and no my friend isn't me..... but where the heck is johnchow.com anyway?! OMG! he is kicked to the fifth or sixth page again!
1. There are many links on the page. 2. John Chow said that that spot only brought him around 150 uniques daily. Competitive keyword, but not a lot of traffic maybe?
No... this keyword is searched for a lot... you can do a research using a keyword research tool... I don't know how John Chow says it brings him only 150 uniques...
So you are telling me that even a link in the first position site, in GOOGLE's search engine for a strong keyphrase like "make money online" doesn't mean anything?
yes, it does not mean anything. How do you expect to drive traffic to you? Unless it redirects to your page , all the traffic it gets from being first position is his own. So stop wondering so much and think a little bit about how it works
