i just recieved an email from the admin saying that i have received an infraction. i posted a question in the sites for sale section of dp. i have been trying to figure out the simplest way to transfer one of my blogs from one of my servers to another and i thought that since these are the people that do this everyday...it would be a smart place to ask the question. i am also a member at the warrior forum and i can say that i have seen people try to pitch their products or services in the discussion portions of the forum and get in trouble because thats not the place for it...its spam. i guess i never realized that it could go the other way around. i was not selling anything. i do realize that that is why people are on that particular area of digital point but didnt for a moment think that it would be a problem to ask forum members for some help. i thought that first and foremost that is what we are all here for...discussion and to help eachother. i am not knocking anyone by saying this. i just didnt realize that my question could turn out to be basically the equivalent of spamming or something of that nature. just wanted to say it here since this is the general chat portion and that i am sorry if my question in any way slowed down the selling process for anyone on the sites for sale section.
its ok one infration doesnt matter much, just make sure that you tell the moderators and request them if its possible to reverse the infration, no point cribing
No problem,you don`t need to worry .I have received some infractions point ...every member has received some.....just be careful in the future.
Infraction are just warning so don't worry. They will expired within months. You may get another one for this thread.

I received one as well for posting somehting in a thread. I dont even recall what it was. But i am not worried.
No need to worry bud.. if you have got the yellow one, these are just warnings, they have no impact on your account, even one or two points worth of red infraction are not much.. There are different forums for almost everything, next time browse to suitable forum to post your questions, you will get better answers from experts. Watch out for a guy called Crazy_rob, he can be veryyyyyyy unforgiven, even Shawn (the owner) is scared of him j/k If you still need help in moving the blog PM me I might help
Just remain cautious and thoughtful as you create new threads. If you're replying to a thread, its very difficult to somehow receive an infraction.
"Running Up Post Count/Post Has No Value" I think a certain kind of infraction....What does it means.
