Hi guys, I am not really sure if this is the place where I should ask this since I believe the problem may be mine. If I missplaced the thread I apologize in advance. Starting yesterday night, while any other site is working fine for me, I can't access DP forums. At first I was certain the site was down, but after almost 24 hours I started doubting it. To make a long story short, I managed to access it using a proxy site (which I totally hate due to my security paranoia) so, here I am. Besides not being able to access the site otherwise, I noticed none of the PM or replies notifications reached my email. I cleared my browser's cache and history, but with no use... Please help? Thank you!
Thank you for the fast reply! Not in UK. Just Romania. Meanwhile I tried a lot of funny things, like playing with the files in the windows/system32/drivers/etc folder, trying all browsers on earth...but no success. Maybe it helps if I mention I have a static IP...I don't know, just thought I should let you know... All was fine until yesterday at 22:00-23:00 PM GMT or so... Any hope, you think? Later Edit: I ran a tracert command and this is what I got: From my little knowledge I understand my provider is ok as the connection seems to stop working only after it leaves their servers and a few others... If anyone could identify the problem I would be really grateful...
I too have the same problem i can not access the site, done exactly the same thing you have used a proxy and cleared everything still does not work. If tried to ping the site aswell but fails and gets no responce. Im in the UK btw using proxy at the moment as i can not access site without it. Let me know if you get a fix so i too can do the same.
Some entity between you and our servers is blocking the access for you. It's not us doing it, but could be anyone in between us.
Thanks, Shawn... At least now we know it's not a problem on our side and neither on yours. Unfortunately this means things are out of our control too. I hope I'm not doomed to a life of using proxies... @NetworkTown.Net If I find a solution, or if, by any chance the problem solves by itself, I'll let you know. Please do the same.
