Title edited: I can't access my website Hello! Yesterday I've registered a new domain from Godaddy. I uploaded the wordpress on FTP, but I can't access the site. Other sites that I own everything and go perfectly and the same thing I did (all are registered at GoDaddy). When I access my site says that the server was not found... I called a friend to check the site if it works and he said that's working perfectly, so only me can't access the site. P.S: I deleted cookies, cache, dns cache, but the same problem ... Waiting your help ... Thanks!
Yes, I am able to access your site. Do a tracert and you are able to reach to your hosting server. If you are using Windows OS you can do a tracert using tracert tvonline-romania.com command in command prompt. Additionally you may contact your hosting provider to check whether your IP address is blocked in their
You could also be banned on the server firewall. Check with your host. Try this http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/
My site is working fine for me but without www., if I put www.domain.com the site doesn't work. I asked some of my friends and for half of them the domain is working and for the rest of them isn't working. Yes, I tried accessing it thorough a proxy service and it's working fine... I did the tracert for the domain and I have the same problem... I've contacted my hosting service and I'm waiting for their reply... What should I do?
This has happened to me MANY times. It's annoying a worrying isn't it? May I ask how long the site has been up? And Don't worry, speaking from experience All you have to do is wait it out a bit... Good Luck
this typically is a DNS problem while most DNS update (TTL) within 24 hours there are many - even in major high tech countries - who take up to MORE than a full week as I experienced some 2 years ago with a major german ISP being more than 1 week behind updated data! hence it is your ISP that needs an updated NS you may contact your ISP and point to the problem, if lucky they may change their default TTL. else just wait until your NS are updated from THIS part of the world - oyur site is fine, but i have MY OWN DNS !! inside my laptop. hence free of any ISPs configuration. to confirm your ISP as the source of YOUR non-access to your site, the proxy test you did is already ONE valid confirmation all world having access is 2nd confirmation now as last test, go to ANY other ISP / internet cafe using OTHER ISP than the one you use normally and load your page. if appearing then ONLY your ISP is the source of non-access. in my 2 year back case - after more than a week I still had some 10% traffic volume going to old location. meaning that there are several ISP having a TTL in their NS of many more days than the usual 24 hrs. time will solve your problem OR you have to act with your ISP as a.m.
Now the domain is working... I waited 3 days and now I'm happy because the domain is workin'... thanks a lot to all who tried to help me!
