Good Day, I hope all you experts can help me, since my knowledge of Servers, and internet infrastructure is minimal. Since yesterday morning I have not been able to connect to my bluehost box (neither the email, the sites, or CPANEL). Bluehost told me everything was OK with the server, and friends in other parts of the world have confirmed it, but neither I nor anybody in my town can see it. I did a tracert and found out got the following: 1 1 ms <1 ms 1 ms home [192.168.1.254] 2 47 ms 19 ms 19 ms dsl-servicio-l200.uninet.net.mx [200.38.193.226] 3 34 ms 33 ms 33 ms bb-pue-fuertes-5-pos5-0-0.uninet.net.mx [201.125.50.125] 4 66 ms 62 ms 64 ms bb-dallas-stemmons-2-pos2-0-0.uninet.net.mx [200.38.193.90] 5 12.116.187.17 reports: Destination host unreachable. From a WHOIS lookup I found out that the final IP was part of AT&T in the U.S. So my questions are, is there anyplace I can find out the status of that ATT router/server? And is there anything I can do, since ATT is not my ISP, they have no reason to help? I am already getting emails from some clients (I host some websites), from my town complaining about not being able to check there email and their website. Any advice would be appreciated.
This might be what you are looking for: http://www.internetpulse.net/ It lists carriers and status for the "internet" as a whole. This page may also help (see the red cells). The problem may not be AT&T if their routers are responding, but the next hop along connected to them. Jay
