This is the problem when u bring religion into a dispute over land. Why not look at each other as fellow human beings? Dont u think both ur gods would want that?

I must stop you here at this false statement. If you are referring to Ahmadinejad recent statement, then you are wrong. Ahmadinejad didn’t call for the destruction of Israel or wipe it out of the map. He was referring to the Jewish-Zionist regime and not Israel. This was like Regan calling for the destruction of the Soviet communism or regime.

If Israel does in fact have nuclear weapons (I've seen nothing that confirms such, beyond speculation and assumptions), they, above all others, have clearly demonstrated responsibility with them.

After all, Israel has bent over backwards for peace in the region while persistently being attacked by nutjobs that believe they are getting virgins for doing so. For all the wars arab countries have launched against Israel and had their butts handed to them on a platter, if in fact Israel has nukes, there is no question that they have used tremendous restraint in using them. If anyone's had the right to use such a weapon against it's enemies, it's certainly Israel.

Also i read an interesting peace on the way the conflict would pan out between Israel and Iran. "its called the four day war" which is a very realistic situation and its very scary.

Pretty disgusting statement here by you kafer. I know scholars who speak persian, and have interpreted his comments as meaning for the destruction of Israel. Israeli's will die a bloody death. because israel is not stupid.
having a nuclear weapon is one thing, but using it is another thing.
they will not use it close to their country, where just wind can simply bring the cloud of radio active back to israel.
US will not use nuclear to attack mexico, they will use it in far away country, like iran, north korea, china, rusia where they save from radioactive.

 

probably true. but i think Israel fears the worlds reaction aswell. Even if Israel used a nuke i seriously couldn't see anyone sticking up to them or doing anything other verbally condemning them and possibly imposing economic sanctions. Russia may be the only one to impose economic sanctions. But also the wind factor with nuclear weapons is true. This is another reason why Israel hasn't dropped one yet, (not a fart lol) . But interestingly enough Israel has over 200 of them and if their existence is under threat they have procedures in place to crush the muslim world. But i doubt they would use nukes unless under attack. It wouldn't be a nuclear pre emptive strike, just not on the cards.

There is another possible reason why Iran may be developing Nuclear weapons.

As I understand it, there is a great deal of rivalry building up between Iran and Saudi Arabia. The sunni Wannabi (?) branch of Islam dominates Saudi Arabia. It also has the holy cities of Mecca and Medina. As such, it has positioned itelf as being at the centre of the Muslim world.

The Iranian government is composed of the Shia branch of Islam, and would perhaps like to take Saudi Arabia's crown as being the 'true' centre of righteous Islam.

Being the first of the two to have a nuclear capability (which, lets face it, Saudi Arabia will NEVER have as it is too busy enjoying the good life to do any WORK) would give Iran a huge 'boost' in the eyes of the faithful.

(I'm not sure where Pakistan comes into this equation, as it is a Muslim country with a HUGE population AND existing nuclear weapons. Perhaps it is too far 'east' to excercise theo-geo-political influence ?? )

On reflection, this is not much of a consolation, because of course the ultimate trump card in terms of Islamic respectability would go to whichever country destroyed Israel.... so maybe the Iranians would be tempted. They wouldn't launch a missile against Israel, but they might try and smuggle a nuke in overland, and then deny all knowledge of it. (or at least.... blowing enough smoke to prevent the allies from attacking, whillst still smirking and getting credit for the attack in the Muslim world)
