I can see my site, you might aswell , but the other person cant?

    I have recently shut my server down as it was a pain in the backside, I have found a really good host but I find one thing very annoying and I swear its not me going insane.

    Take http://mysiteranked.com/ for example, I cant see the website on my laptop even after clear the temp, cookies, reboot the router blah blah

    I can however see the website if I use pagewash or a another proxy.

    The thing which is very annoying is that other websites on the server are showing i.e justlinking.info or imthedjae.co.uk

    I recently built a site for a friend and this is when I started to notice that some people can only see some of the sites on my network, he was saying some people in Croatia couldn't see his site but we could in my office.

    Any reason behind this as the host seems to think all is working fine, I dont want to move host as the server is good and they have good prices.

    I'm sure I am not going mad on this.

    any advice on this will be great

    Your DNS is not OK. You have some issues. Your name servers are not correct. At your registrar, you have the name servers listed to use as:

    NS1.TIGER-HOST.COM
    NS2.TIGER-HOST.COM

    On the server, your DNS is being told to use:

    ns1.websitehostings.com.
    ns2.websitehostings.com.

    This is a mismatch error, and even though they may be pointing to the same IP's, some ISP's regard this as an error, and will not update the records. You have one of two options, change the name servers at your registrar for the domain name to be the ones directly, above, or, change your DNS settings on the server to be the first ones posted. Is this a dedicated server, VPS, or, are you on a shared hosting account?

    I have just got a reseller, shared hosting package.

    I have been with them for a couple of months but they just changed to a new server and then I started to notice problems.

    I was thinking I was going mad or something

    I can see it's a cpanel hosting account, the nameserver records just need editing in the dns zone within WHM to reflect the one's tha your using. This *normally* isnt a problem as both nameservers are on the same server using the same IP's.
