Hi there everyone, It's been a while, I was away from this forum for a really long time. Anyways, I have this website which are backlinked by 4-5 websites ( free blogs) These blogs are already indexed but when I checked my website in Google and by using a backlink checker tool, I don't see those backlinks on the list. So does this mean, even though the sites are indexed, they don't give link juice? So How do I make those links count or see those links in Google or in my backlink checker? Any thoughts? Or is it because Google or other backlink checkers don't show all backlinks? Thanks in advance and Happy New Year 2011 to all
Wait for some time. Google takes some time to crawl the backlinks. as soon as Google crawls it, it updates your backlinks
There might be a couple of reasons: 1. You're right; Google doesn't show all of the back-links even after it has indexed the pages. 2. Have you checked whether the links on those blogs are with a no-follow attribute?
Google shows quality links only, don't worry about it. keep it up, you will see some links in future.
even if it's not shown, it still counted google don't show all backlinks to your site, only super quality link
The others are right. Give it time. The pages that I have links with are indexed 3 months ago but the links are only shown last week of December. Don't focus on the number of backlinks too much. What's more important is your ranking. If I were you, I will just focus on building more backlinks and see if my site is going up in Google rather than counting the links and knowing why it hasn't been counted yet. Good luck!
