Oh god, the indexed pages still dropped.last weekend when i use " site:domain" search on google,i can see 1160 results, but now, only 800,i can not believe that, why?
How fast were those pages created? If the answer is less than a month, then this is to be expected. If not, maybe getting a backlink or two to each page will help.
Test them on duplicate content issues. Very often Google sees pages which are too similar as duplicates. This is especially the case with product pages. If that is the case, you might consider a product review function, so users can provide content that makes the pages different from each other. Regards Wolfgang Brand
just view full profile and read that or check all the data and than take the decisions and make a guess..
You only lost 360 pages? Back in April of 2009 I had problems with my site map, and google de-indexed about 280,000 pages from my main forum. Yea, I typed that right - two hundred and eighty thousand pages. And your worried about 360 pages? Its taken 4 months to regain 20,000 or that 280,000 pages. So I am still down 260,000 pages. That is just the way it is. Google might find a bunch of pages, and then lose them. Dont worry about it. That is just google being google. I only wish I had lost 360 pages.
thats how it works...you should keep on working for your links..its not always stable.. it may increase or decrease...
I had this happen the other day but I got to the bottom of it in the end - I had run a script that imported a load of posts into one of my blogs. Turns out Google didn't like it and I got a penalty of some description! As mentioned above, it can also be down to the data centre you are accessing.
