Hi, On avg I have a Quality Score on 8/10 but how can I get it to 10/10? One of my ads, keywords and landing page: Ad: PowerPoint Designs Pre-designed PowerPoint templates 100% Editable - Direct Download wwww.PowerPointing.com/Designs Keywords: powerpoint design, powerpoint slide design, powerpoint slide designs Landing page: http://powerpointing.com/designs/t-top-rated Please give me some suggestions Thx, Tobias
Try including your keywords in your landing page metatags and also including them on your landing page content You don't use the word sliding in your ad text at all, try including it Try different ad text variations to improve your CTR (which can improve QS)
Definitely try to increase your CTR,the QS should go up if you increase it. The landing page looks fine.
Thx for the suggestions guys. I have updated meta, page title, and ads so that they now include "slide", "powerpoint" and "design". Let's see.
Is it posiible to have 10/10 in the adwords? All my ads have about 8/10 or 9/10 and there are no suggestions at the account what's wrong. I've started thinking that it's like with PR - there is 10 possible but no one has it
You can have a 10/10 quality score but everything needs to be perfect, and you need a lot off optimizing to get there. Wrong. CNN edit:now it is 8/10 and when I was looking before it was 10/10,lol.
Do some aggressive SEO (on page and off page both) and also embed a youtube video on your landing page if possible. By the way what's your PPC bid for generic keywords with that quality score...
to improve quality score, u have suggested high bid and your keywords and other thing reflect in adv.
@brianconor My ppc is between 0.3-0.4. Is that good with 8/10? I just optimized my landing page and my with the keywords but it's still 8/10. I think i need to improve my CTR it's only around 3%. I guess that's pretty bad isn't it? Tobias
Got a question about the CTR Say someone clicks on one of my adverts. Will that affect the CTR/Quality score for all the keywords im bidding on? At the moment i have just set up a new account today and my quality scores are 7-8/10 but my click through rate is very poor. If I up the bid on my Long tail terms which are a lot cheaper will that help bring up the overall quality score and help my short tail terms?
If your trying to get QS 10 for generic keywords than it's all about CTR (based on the fact that your landing page is fine). Try to improve your CTR by better call-to-action, and different phrasing of your ads. @ Alightstudios.com If your account is new Google is giving you a "grace" period in which they will check out what you do. Be careful from low CTR because it will affect what Google "thinks" about you and your campaign history and your QS will be hurt. I suggest doing some fast optimization and cut low CTR keywords or change their matching. If the CTR on your long tails is highr than focus on them to start with and go on from there.
