Hello guys, yesterday dealt with someone to transfer from his PayPal account towards mine. And when I receive the PayPal balance then I transfer the money we agreed on to his bank account via the bank's app. However, I received the PayPal balance and he received the money, we were happy. Today's morning I got surprised by an email of an unauthorized payment dispute. Got back to ask him why I didn't find his profile he blocked me. I called him the same thing. The amount was somehow heavy above 1000$. I am a bit confused what can I do. Can anyone guide me to get my PayPal balance back? Can anyone help me, please? Thank you guys
Can you go into detail about what the e-mail said? Otherwise it will be difficult to figure out what is going on based solely on your post.
This is where this problem has begun. I hope that this is not a case of dishonesty on his part. Contact Paypal and explain everything as soon as you can. Good luck to you with this.
Reply, but also indicate that you are willing to call them if needed. Be sure to provide your cellphone number. But do it quickly.....
Yes, I am ready to send the message. But, should I tell them I bought balance from him. Are you sure it is not against their policies ?
After rereading your original post and your last post, I am beginning to suspect that the two of you were up to some monkey business. Unfortunately it looks like you are the one who is going to be stuck holding the bananas.
There was no reason to be surprised. I'd have been amazed if this wasn't a scam. I'm guessing you don't have any real world contact info for the other person, right? You are going to have to pay back the money and treat it as an expensive lesson in online business.
He says he rec'd money into his paypal, then he sent money to someone, then he got a chargeback.. What am I missing here; It sounds like he was doing something odd, and certainly sounds like he got scammed.
@dscurlock it sounds like it's one of the "money exchanges" that we banned well over 5 years ago. Some people had a genuine need but too many deals turned out like this one and people were ripped off. That or the old "buy me a software license and I'll pay you back", these kids have to wise up. It is usually an amount of money they can't easily afford.
On the PP, there is still a complicated registration and binding of cards, pre-authorization of funds, etc. Here is the instruction. But the most difficult thing is that during registration it is necessary to enter the code that only employees of the bank see. And they need to get through to find out.
I think you are dealing with scammers. Try to contact the support of the Paypal and explain the situation. I hope you will manage to solve the problem. Good luck!
