Okay. I purchased BANS yesterday and setup two sites, with the plans to setup 3-5 more. They look decent and I'm satisfied with them.

Now the question is, how can I generate traffic? Moreover, how can I generate traffic that converts to sales?

I'm not sure what your niche is but i use forums to promote. IMO quality targeted traffic is better then quantity. I also use newsletters.

    hows about a link?

Social bookmarking for immediate traffic.... I'd try Stumbleupon and Digg

I set up a site Saturday and had 50 hits from Google already... The trick is I picked a niche with high priced items, low competition and a lot of long tail keyword searches. KACHING

So know you niche and do some keyword research.

I think anything you do will help, but it's important to be patient and persistent. Continue to develop more sites and promote. As sites age, you'll see more and more traffic. Obviously, you'll want to jump start the traffic.. and you can could follow a few or all the techniques mentioned above. Find what works the best and focus on that.

I personally like to kick start a site with Stumble. If Google indexes the site immediately and I'm getting long tail phrases, I'll usually create a squidoo lense and link back to it. I also like to do PPC using Yahoo for a few sites, as long as it follows the proper criteria before hand.

    Hope this helps

I also bought BANS, but for some reason I ran into a little trouble setting it up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm sure it's just a simple little fix.

BANS has great support at their forum. I would recommend you post this question there. A

Have you had any success with article marketing?

While they'll give you traffic their traffic doesn't usually convert to sales, correct? I've received several hundred visitors from stumble upon but no sales.

I suppose a better question would be what marketing or method of driving traffic has been the most successful to you as far as generating sales?
