    Hello

I believe there is a limit on the number of ad groups available in an account, how is everyone getting around this

    Are you starting multiple accounts?

This is a big limitation since I a geo locating my adds to specific areas, and there are more than 20 states.

The only limits on accounts is overall size. You can exceed that limit by using thousands of ad groups, or tens of thousands of keywords, or thousands of ads or any other combination of account elements.

There is a ceiling they can't raise past and once you hit they will tell you to use a second account. If you've never asked them to increase your account size and you're already making good use of the account you're using ask them for an increase in size before resorting to additional accounts.

Call your Google rep, show them that you need all the adgroups and keywords you have and they will increase the size of your account for you.

I've got 83 campaigns in one account and have never hit the ceiling.

    380,000 keywords too.

    Hmm,

all good advice, I got stopped at 20... which seems an arbitrary low number. I will contact them... I mean, why would google want to take less of my money :)

Odd, I thought 25 was the default limit. They did tell me a year or two ago that the campaign limit was 100 and they would not increase past that number. That was at least a year ago though...could have changed. Good luck.
