Hi I got IP number and everything. Someone named Ali who lives in Italy is clickbombing me. Is it within digitalpoint forum rules or not?

Are you talking about your adsense ads or what?

Well yes I believe one of the digitalpoint members named Ali ( on his computer, anyway, have no idea about his nick in DP) declared Jihad against my adsense account. So far no damage had been done despite of all efforts, yet it is annoying. I believe it's because of my activity in Politics and religion section, which is out of my access anymore, unfortunately. If any of the moderators is interested about this, i got the IP. I also want to delete a few links in my old posts if it is possible.

I think the click-bomber that got me banned also came from DigitalPoint according to my Google Analytics.
It's a shame that people act so childish.

Best thing to do would be to contact AdSense directly.

well i did already. I just was wondering if it is an accepted behavior here. Anyway, while we at it, is it possible to unshackle my tongue in P&R section? I do believe my posts brought quite a few pageviews to DP's table!

We don't get involved in disputes between members, nor do we police 3rd party terms of service (especially when they aren't being broken on OUR site).

As far as P&R, usergroup promotions/demotions are automatic, there's nothing I need to do manually. Even if I promoted someone manually, if they weren't eligible for promotion normally, the system would auto-demote them back within an hour.

As a rule of thumb it's always wise not to point which websites belong to you .

Especially when posting in PR and being a douche.

So in other words you're saying that we should not have our websites in our signatures?
Sure it makes sense in way but should we really have to fear these stupid people all the time
    when posting on DigitalPoint?

I know that the mods and admins can't do anything about it, but it's just so sad that people actually do this.

I guess the only thing we can do is to hope that Google doesn't automatically ban everyone who becomes
a victim of click-bombing. They should develop stronger protection against these things. After all, they got the resources.

Well I may be a bit paranoid when it comes to security , a few years as head if internal security can make you go bonkers lol . However in years of webmastering I've never gotten more then spam from haters . The reality is that you can never be to safe , i know it's horrible but increased risks are part of the success lol .

Don't expect anyone to protect you , not even the police , the best defense are your own actions . In our field of work privacy is crucial . TBQH i don't think you can afford to publish where you live if you have a family . Sorry to go a bit off topic but the reality is grimmer and crueler then we can even imagine .
