Congrats, shahab6! Like you said, just stay active. You're in LA so it shouldn't be too hard to find stuff to occupy your mind/body. I know this might not be the greatest suggestion, but if your cravings are really bad, take an OTC sleeping pill or two and sleep through them. Good luck...you're going to be feeling like a new person in a few days!!!
Well, good luck then. Stay active, and imo try to remove yourself from situations where you would be even remotely tempted to get anymore.
well...try to concentrate on something. be creative... even sitting in front of computer might help... focus! you have got one life, dont waste it!
If you did drugs with your friends, stay away from that crowd and find friends that are trying to stay clean. If there is an AA or Narcotics Anonymous program available to you, join it, those programs are really supposed to help. Don't give in, keep fighting. Best of Luck.
I am addicted to the game Halo, and know it's hard to break. I can't imagine an addiction to a drug. Keep up the good work! Come to think of it, Halo or another game may be a good distraction.
find something more interesting to do and try to keep yourself busy. just do anything that will not let you think of drugs again. anyway congrats if you cn be away from it.
I need to find myself a new hobby. This week I'm going to be busy, as I have midterms. But once that finishes, for sure I have to found something to do.
do some sports, watch japanese anime, also get some jobs from DP to fill in your sparetime may help. earning money instead of spend it for drug always a better choice.
try to keep at it and don't get discouraged. my best mate was hooked on oxys for about three years and it damn near killed him. He finally started to kick when his doctor told him he was going to put him on the list for a liver transplant. He's had to fight it for the last couple years though as it's quite tempting to go back. He started out with a medical need and ended up an addict. With weed, speed, and some other less invasive drugs you can kick on your own, but you might want to get some professional help. That stuff just keeps calling you...
I don't mean to belittle your "accomplishment" but if you really want a challenge try getting married and having a couple of kids and actually be responsible for other people. With that said... Congrats...
really? well congrats keep it up man!!! just continue being bz yourself to other things then that bad habbits of your!!
OxyContin is bad news... I hear alot of people are addicted to that stuff and it can ruin lives. Good for you for quitting.
