I asked paypal to atleast allow indians to pay through their credit card

    Hi,
    I just sent mail to paypal as below.
    Lets see what reply they will send,


    Hi paypal,
    you say as per RBI instructions an indian paypal user cannot send any payment from current paypal balance. But we are still able to send payment from paypal balance and paypal system dont stop us sending payment from paypal balance. Paypal only remind us what RBI says. Why dont paypal make such a system such that it stops us while we pay from paypal balance and instead of that paypal can ask us to pay through credit card?
    That way at least we can make payment using our credit card. Currently we cannot pay from paypal balance(as RBI restricts) and also we are not able to pay using credit card.
    Suppose someone tell me to send money to his paypal .Then if I go to my paypal and try to send money (by clicking on "send money" link) the money will go from paypal balance. So there is no way to pay using credit card and also we cannot pay from balance as RBI restricts.

    Can you please tell us if you can create a system so that at least we can pay through paypal using our credit card?

    But where is the problem as currently we are able to pay using our paypal balance to anyone else.

    I do think we should really stop talking about these things anymore - Paypal is as normal as previous... so please make your self busy in some other work :)

    yes we are still able to pay from paypal balance but than we are going against RBI rules and doing that. Do you know what happens when you break govt. rules?

    paypal is very smart. They are giving notices to follow RBI rules. Paypal is not going against RBI rules(as they are telling the RBI rules to us and ask to follow) but since we are going against RBI rules, action will be taken against us. paypal will loose millions of money every month if they dont allow to pay from paypal balance as transactions will be cut down for them. So they are very smart.

    yes we can send the money to indian paypal users yesterday i was sent to my client 120$ and it's done successfully.

    I think Paypal is creating a system that automatically transferred our Paypal balance to our linked bank account.

    Can I book hotel tickets on Agoda through PayPal? Since PayPal does not allow me to send money. Can I buy products through my PayPal account?
