I am worry about hostgator allowed adult site.

    it will affect my site ranks?

    shared hosting doesn't affect rankings. Regarding adult hosting i feel you can host (need to cross check though)

    HostGator does allow adult hosting. However anything illegal is against their TOS as with any USA based web hosting company.

    i think op want to know whether adult site on the same hosting ip will affect other site ranking or not...

    well the answer is no, but on some rare occasion, it will, it depends on the adult site raise the google red flag or not...

    You shouldn't. Since HostGator only allows legal adult content. Illegal content gets reported fast enough. Ofcourse you can also search for a hosting company that doesn't allow adult hosting if you feel safer, but you shouldn't worry about that too much.

    That wont affect your domain reputation for sure. Adult sites is not that bad really :)
