I pay for my hosting 30 € monthly, I own 15 domains, I spend on it $300 , I have bought license for forums $100 (IPB), then I bought SEO script for IPB (90$) I am in this business already 3 years long, and untill now I havent earned any nice amout of bucks! How does people earn money online ? Please say it to me! I spent already so much money on faq´s, tutorials and I never earned anything else. The one site is working good is http://www.seodir.eu - I earn there some 10 $ / week. Thats all, what should I do now ? Where can I find some good working tutorial, I can invest. I have sex.gy domain, I can make a adult site or so, just I need someone who will learn me, I can pay but I want to get success! Anyone ?
Drop the dead end sites, i know is hard to let them go, focus on whats making money already and always try things that you don't failed before.
I feel for you. You have a nice directory. I think they key is volume. You need a way to get that in a way that is cheaper than what you make from it. You might want to experiment with different kind of advertising and let users generate more content to get more traffic and so on.

You cant drop those domain that are making no money for you now. So, build them. I'm not experienced as you are, but i can give you few suggestions that you might have read many times earlier. 1. Focus one site at a time. Have a target on it. 2. Move on to the 2nd, 3rd. 3. Promote your other sites within all your sites. Self advertise. -> Start blogs in your domains. -> Hire writers/rewrites. Make hugeeee content. Quality does matter. But no stress on that. You never know which keyword brings in luck, traffic and money. You have money. right? -> Build backlinks as many as possible. They bring in great traffic. Do directory submissions, blog commenting. Do all these things 1site at a time and definitely i can tell you, you can find satisfactory results within 1month. i think you need some research before you run a website, however different niche is different income . if you do not research first 80% your website will fail. you must often test some niche, if it good then you optimize it for maximum income . if not then run another web and test again. if you like ppc then research it by marketsamurai software is a very good software and it's free ! for example one of my website niche i optimize it for over 6 month , but that website only give 1$/day. then i build another different niche of website. only for 1 month i get 5$/day? and now for over 6 month optimizing it i get 50$/day .this what i mean. you need test some niche first . research at beginning is the most important part at IM...
If what you are doing now is not working - quit doing it - period! Try a new approach - if dropping some of the domains will help then do it - you have to constantly try new things until you find what works - then you have to constantly work on those things that work. To repeat a great idea here - FOCUS - you can always come back to the others.
