... tired of seeing an infraction and not knowing what it is for. Seriously... how are people supposed to know which post gets deleted if there is no mention to the thread, post or anything.

Do you honestly think it will make the person somehow remember what he/she has done wrong when they receive an infraction after posting in 5-10 different threads in a day? Do you think someone will remember all of a sudden and go, "Ah, that is right... I said that and that and somehow that must be wrong. But wait... I posted in many threads... what is right and what is wrong?" *thinks on the subject and after deciding that a headache is not worth the effort, quits and go to the suggestion feedback section to ask*

I would love your input... because I am tired of seeing an infraction and don't know what the hell it is for.

So my suggestion in a nice way is that moderators or whoever start to link to the thread and either give a short comment that will remind the person why.

That excuse of Moderators do not have time is also not going to cut it...because if they have time to give infractions then they have time to spell it out for the user. That is my two points. Also threatening people to give them more infractions for posting their thoughts... well you don't want to know what I think of people like that.

People do have a right to voice their opinions, whether you like it or not.

So please take my suggestion in consideration. No one will learn anything if they do not know or remember what the post is about. I sure as hell don't.

right now i'm more concerned with a comment you made:

"Also threatening people to give them more infractions for posting their thoughts..."

    who threatened you? how?

No, the other day I came into suggestions section and one of the threads that someone had up, he asked a legit question. Then a mod or someone posted straight after saying the person will receive another infraction just for asking about it.

To me that is a tad bit childish. I really don't care if that is your rules, but to say something like that to someone when they are trying to understand what they did wrong is as we say it... just a bit unprofessional. If a kid continually gets told off for asking questions, do you think that kid will ask in future? He simply won't and then he will learn nothing.

    Just an example.

Their forum, their rules .. it's just how it works, In my experience there are more mods in the suggestions part than any other part of the site, can't blame them for getting bored with the same questions and most of the answers can be found with the search button anyway. :)

Also helps to read the rules and apply to them, there are stickies on most sections on what can and can't be done, everyone gets the odd infraction now and then, it helps you learn.

Helvetii is right. I just checked and you have chosen not to receive PMs from mods/admins regarding your infractions. We routinely post a short note pointing members to pertinent information and explaining what is wrong with post for those who elect to receive message from mods/admins.

Yeah I will enable that now then, but just saying. Not meaning anything bad by stuff...I just could not remember what it would be for. The previous one to this I have no idea too :p

probably someone...infractions aren't given for your kind of post because you asked nicely. some people come in here and slam us or get snotty. they get theirs.
and yes, allow admin notifications so you know what the next one is for. (if there is another) ;)

Sarah, your last infraction was for commenting in a sales thread in which you were not interested in personally participating.

Part of your post included the statement, "Someone would have to be real idiotic to join a manga/anime forum and contribute to the community and then post your 'post' and then get the account banned."

Our rule of thumb is the type posts acceptable in a sale thread are posts

    1. Asking questions for seller for which community as a whole would be interested. Questions pertinent only to yourself belong in a PM.

    2. Replies by seller that would interest anyone reading the thread.

The following type posts are unacceptabel:

    1. PM sent.

    2. Send details.

    3. I'm interested.

    4. You have a PM type posts.
