I am Tired and Sick with Hostmonster. This Company has done me so much damage. One time they suspended my account because one author (Tony Spann - IMHO a very Dishonest or at least unfair guy) complained to hosmtmoster that I have used his copyrighted articles illegally. He claims to be stock investing expert, but I strongly doubt he is one... So to give you some details about that case in short, Tony Spann put his articles stock investing related on the free to use from everybody articles on ezinearticles.com where he agreed to the terms and services. I was shocked to find out that he called hostmonster to complain about my use of his articles on one of my websites claiming I was using them without his permission or illegally. Hostomonster disabled my account without giving me any notice. Last year Hosmonster lost all of my files and couldn't recover not even a single one. Today my account has been disabled again this time the reason was a computer glitch. I spoke with the abuse department today 02 18 2009 about 15:00 p.m. about my account being disabled and I was told by the rep (Sarah) it will be activated right away. Now it is 21:30 P.M. 02 18 2009 and it is still not enabled. Since they don't have anybody working grave yard for tonight I have to wait till tomorrow morning. If you need a good service, think twice before you chose hostmonster.
Oh so sorry for you bro.. I prefer to find a host in my town so that i can catch then right away if i ever get problem ..
I have been with HostMonster too but I am quite okay with their service except they are very slow sometime. Anyway, in your case, you should move to another host. :: ads2help
I don't think it is necessary . How much time does it take you to arrive the hosting company/data center ? Small problems can be fix soon . You can't help even if they have big problems.
I'm surprised that you did not switch hosting right away after the Tony Spann incident! How can they simply ban a hosting account without any further investigation! I don't like hostmonster as well. Their support is very unfriendly and indeed not helpful! If I were you, I will straight switch hosting without second words. Why stuck with them while there are so many better hosting outside? For example Hostgator. Just switch from them. After all, I believe you can get a refund from them on the remaining period of your subscriptions.
