I have been working on this blog for well over a year. Traffic has steadily increased over time, but I cannot seem to get over 150 uniques per day? I understand link building and will admit I have not spent much time trying. I cannot get Google to index more than 120-130 pages. I average about 5200 visits per month. My content is really drilled down and my niche is very specific. I rank 1-3 on google for many keywords/phrases Like the keyword "Closeout"... Am I just too niche drilled down...too small of a area for interest? I cannot believe out of 300 million+ people here in the states I cannot drive more traffic. What SEO issues could it be? Any and all suggestions which will help me gain more traffic will be appreciated. In fact, I would be willing to pay for someone's expertise My blog is http://thecloseoutindustry.com - It is about the sourcing of below wholesale merchandise for eBay sellers, flea market vendors, retail store owners, export/importer etc Anyone? I check Googles keyword tool in adwords and this says there are around 58 searches on the term "closeout industry" per month which might indicate that the term is not the best choice for your topic!
I write quality content and talk about various subjects all relating to closeouts, liquidations etc. Basically a sight devoted to sourcing below wholesale merchandise. Is this really my problem? Obviously, if The keyword phrase in my domain only gets approx 58 searches per month then why am I getting 130 - 150 uniques a day? I am blogging about several areas all relating to finding merchandise to resell? your site Stretch Limousines Melbourne only comes up with 140 Global searches per month on Google? Are you doomed as well?
You are getting rest of the traffic from long-tail keywords and from RSS feed readers. I would recommend that you choose more keywords related to your niche and also optimize for them.
