I am still with 0 backlinks from google why is that so?

Google exports backlinks, and it does not happen very often (just like pr). Even when google exports such backlinks, it is only a sampling. Create a Webmaster tools account with Google and get a better idea of incoming links.

google is a cheeky little bas**rd. they will only show fair valuable links. Sometimes the odd crap link scrapes through but it is mainly just decent ones.

 

G for link:www.amray.com show only 59
Y - 24,000

G search for: amray directory (popped 49,000)
Y - 75,800

but it doesn't matter anyway because G give AMRAY Web Directory more credit than total amount of backlinks it shows.

and you'll see why

and by the way, nothing is matter when it comes to G.
Our PR dropped from PR6 to 5 regardless of the fact that backlinks
went from 44 to 59
