These new rules are not working well.

You have made such thread invalid like post here for more info and all.

now it has given rise to new problem.

since then I have received 4 requests to bump someones thread with a fake review or with "i want to buy give me paypal" and what not. Moreover these are offering me fake itraders in return.I am sure many others would have also reveiced such offers over ims and yahoo messengers.Have you thought of this.
These new rules gave rise to new phenomena of fake itraders.

Needless to say I havent given any fake reviews.I review only what i have used.

It does happen, but just say no. You can't be peer pressured into doing something you don't want to ;) And anyway, mods/admins can't do anything about it ;)

you can forward the PM to an admin or MOD and the user will be banned but i guess they come back. If we bann them enough times i guess they do not want to come back anymore.

This stuff has and always will happen. Fake bids, fake bumps. Mods will be clueless at times whether a post requesting further info was a genuine request or not.

Yes that's truth and we seen many times new users have iTrader in just few days after signup. I know some of them are honest few of them aren't. I also got few messages in pass but I never do it for bumping the thread without using service.

I really like the new rules, those PM me and those thank you posts that come out of no one and appear for pages and pages can finally disappear. Great Job Mods!

    Cheers.

Well, here's the thing about people asking for bumps and offering fake iTraders via PM - who will be the people who end up getting burned? The webmasters at DigitalPoint. So it's in everyone's interests (aside from a few scammers) for everyone to make certain they don't do it.

This is not a new problem and the new rules had no effect on the problem. There was never a requirment that you had to post in a thread to leave iTrader. The requirement was that you participated in a deal from the thread. There are many deals done from threads through PM.

The big problem with the rules are enforcement of them. The problems ae so widespread that many go unnoticed. There are many rules still being broken and only a fraction are being dealt with. We are told to report them but depending on who the moderator is, it may or may not be dealt with.

Examples are asking for rep, asking for reviews when none is offered, giving iTrader for free reviews, post of no value, and more. The problem is the rules are spreard all over the place, I am not sure all the mods are sure when a rule is broken or not. It would be great to have all rules in one place and all mods on the same page on what is and isn't a violation.
