just jump off godaddy and got with a real host designed for people who have a clue. i use godaddy for a couple of bits for c class ip's but generally they are overselling pains in the ass. at least they stopped charging extra to add a pop3 accoutn now. and lately seem to be offering proper cpanel with cloudlinux and installatron on there. which is a bit step forwards for one of the most difficult to use companies providing webhosting.
I generally don't make recommendations for hosting, but for the kind of thing you are doing, you might take a look at https://asmallorange.com/ They offer good value and I have host some small client sites there. The support is fast, and they do not try and upsell you at every turn. The packages generally include everything you need for basic site management. Disclaimer: I am not in any way affiliated with a small orange and I am not responsible for the experience you have with them
