You'd have to sell a lot of books to make a good income! I would advise selling higher paying items instead that pay more commission per sale. For example one TV sale can pay as much commission as 100 book sales would so perhaps look at the potential from selling other products first and include books related to the main niche products on your site as a secondary line of sales.

 

I don't understand why are you focusing on amazon you can also take some hot selling products from share a sale or clickbank and earn huge profits by doing affiliate marketing for them

SEO is only the foundation for getting your good content noticed. If you don't have good content, no amount of proper SEO will help you, if you have great content, poor SEO will not hurt you too much.
