Hi All, I am seeking clarification. Is one allowed to display adsense and YPN "ad targeted' ads on the same page? Does ad targeted ads constitute contextual? Thanks.

The answer that I have heard is that YPN allows. Google does not allow it.

So if one doesn't allow it, doesn't that still mean you shouldn't do it? I'd highly suggest showing one or the other.

SkiRatt is correct. You can't have YPN with google.

    From G's TOS

    Competitive Ads and Services

We do not permit Google ads or search boxes accessing Google search services to be published on web pages that also contain what could be considered competing ads or services. If you have elected to receive contextually-targeted Google ads, this would include all other contextually-targeted ads or links on the same page as Google ads. This would also include ads throughout the site that mimic Google ads or otherwise appear to be associated with Google on your site. Although you may sell ads directly on your site, it is your responsibility to ensure these ads do not mimic Google ads. If you have elected to receive Google search services, this would include other search services on the same site and non-Google query-targeted ads. We do allow affiliate or limited-text links.

Cripes, I thought there was a way to display ads by yahoo with out them being contextual. Shite. Oh well. Thats guys and gals.

The reason I ask was that I saw a site that did it, and until I was accepted into YPN, I assumed there was a way.

does anyone know a code snippet (perl, php, asp) that you can plug into your existing site and it displays contextual ads based on the visitor's origin. Let's say if a visitor comes from USA it should show YPN ads otherwise Adsnese...
