I am seeing low visitors on DP

Hi

Sorry to say but i am seeing low visitors on DP since last many days, as there are not much replies and threads since last few days, even i have also submit my problem and did not get fast reply. Normally in DP we got fast reply in an hour and can new strategy.

Please tell me am i right ?

 

Yeah I agree that DP have less visitors for last few months ... ( Maybe new banning rules ..)

 

Because the spams have been reduced

 

Ever since I got here I think numbers have been dropping, but I think that's due to the new rules on the 7 day ban, which are catching a lot of people out

 

This is good because it is getting rid of the spammers and saving the safest members for us.

 

Lower than before. Too many people are banned with the implementation of the strict rules (I seriously think they overdo it, but nvm), but it's a fact it's not a very good place to advertise your services/domains anymore.

Bumps are not allowed, even when you have changes to announce, so it doesnt matter whether you're a super active user or someone who visits DP once a week, you'll still be waiting for replies in your sales thread, and if they never do, you're basically stuck there.

I read from another thread that if you have changes to make in your sales thread, you can request for your thread to be closed before posting another, but I requested twice after the past several days, still getting no response. =/ Now I'm just trying to be active in other areas, while slowly moving to other forums to sell my stuff. I think thats one of the main reasons yeh.

Change it to daily and the picture changes. Anyway, Currently 1819 active users, that's not low! Postings have droped because of ban on silly posts Digg swaps and silly posts like "PM me details", both are for the better IMHO.

 

I really don't feel any drop , but sometimes there are delay in displaying the page and can make people just leave that page.

 

Nope, as I think the DP forum now is more neat and tidy than before, maybe it's because of the new forum rules...
