I am scared CTR 4.65% now will this bugger my account?

Hi,

I just checked my CTR and it was at 4.65% is this to high for adsense

all I did was buy 2 test traffic packages said they were adsense safe

and posted on a well known australian property investment forum

where I am well known and have been a member for several yrs

my blog is related to australian realestate but I am worried I have done this work and now google may penalize what can I do to reduce the ctr quickly or is 4.65% fine hope it does not get any higher

 

If you just purchased traffic then I'd say you were safe - as long as you're happy that you weren't paying people to click on your ads then you should be OK...

I'd love to get that kinda CTR!

 

yeah I didn't pay anyone to click on my ads at all just purchased 2 traffic test packages if everything goes well I will be buying a hell of alot more you'll see my review on both the provideers threads I think the forum which is extremly targeted though may have had something to do with it

just worried as the wordpress site is very young less then 1 day old

I'll be very happy if it keeps up just don't wanna get banned heard people have with ctr like this before thanx for the advice

 

Don't worry about it. CTR can be up to 8% .

You should worry if you click yourself

 

As long as you are not doing anything against the TOS, you should be fine.

 

i never got banned and my ctr is like 5% for years

 

i never had so high ctr % before.. i always stay below 1% . sad

CTR 4.65% on one site or overall?

Dont panick, ive had 33%, 50%, 100% ctr on individual sites.

As long as your traffic is genuine then no need to worry.

Although i thought buying traffic to adsense sites was against their terms?

will have to check it's a real wordpress site I will be writing on daily about australia realestate market usually when I buy traffic I get 0 results from other sites in the past lol

 

My weblog is currently having a 6% CTR and i am not worried because i didn't ask anyone to click on my ads. You should not be worried too.

 

try to send an email to adsense support that u can see some unexpected activities and they will handle it
but i just wana let u know, this action would cuz a little bit of minimizing your revenue for 2 weeks forward i guess

My CTR is 10% from 1 year Thats fine google know from where coming my traffic ... my 90% traffic from organic search engine....

 

That's awesome man! Buy a lot of those packages and you gonna be making a lot of money. I hope I get a high CTR with my new blog. I don't think you'll have a problem with adsense if your following all the rules.

 

Sometimes I got high CTR, but only last less than a day. You don't have to worry as long as you don't click your self or ask your friends to click it or encourage readers to click it. Most of the time, my CTR ca 2.5%.

I have had my arcade site around 4.25% consistently for 8 months now, so I am not really concerned.

When your site is a consistent 2% and all of a sudden spikes to 20% or so google might look into it then.

From what I know, buying traffic for your site is completely fine as long as:
1) The traffic isn't designed for people to click on your ads
2) The traffic is real and not bots
