I am getting this problem. But other user and visitors are able to open my site. But I am not able to do this. One more thing one of my friend in Germany also running a website too. I am not able to open his site too. Please help me.
Is it possible that Godaddy is blocking some ip address? As it is possible that your ISP have troubles with the cache so you can't see the website, try setting up a OPENDNS account or try to see if with a proxy you can access it.
oohaah even I am facing a similar problem. I contacted BSNL because I think it is a server error, but no help still. Pls. let me know if you find a solution to the problem.
So this means that GoDaddy is banning your IP address or your ISP is banning GoDaddy or have a really Old Cache System. Go to OpenDNS and setup your computer to run with the dns of opendns, if with this it will work... blame your network! Otherwise... blame GoDaddy. Pay Attention: I believe is more likely an ISP problem but if it's a Godaddy Issue... Maybe you are in time to change hosting provider. Any Trouble accessing https://yogem.com/clients ?
my friend who is running a website which I mentioned that I can't open it now it is accessible. But mine still not
Would you please provide me the internet address? If not publicly send me a PM. I want to check something by doing a traceroute and also your IP address (the one of the ISP) so I will make tests.
Last News: By talking with a friend of mine who live in India I discovered something that since 2005 is not a new for BSNL. Seems that BSNL is actually blocking a lot of websites and that maybe GoDaddy was hosting in the same IP address range some websites that BSNL literally censored. If you want more proof just google: "BSNL block websites". Happy reading...
Here are some Other Websites Hoste On Godaddy and I am able to see it. scoobysworkshop.com rennes-ist.com delphifoodproducts.co.uk yfcescort.com floridaventureblog.com free-wallpaper-download.com
@oohaah: GoDaddy have more than one server, you need to take in consideration only websites that come from the same IP address. It can be that the provider is blocking selectively some IP address, not all the GoDaddy's range!
Your websites have different Nameservers. The one you can open have: 216.69.185.13 The one you cannot open is: 216.69.185.6 By Tracerouting the Nameservers you will get that your nameservers point to this ip: 173.192.18.162 And the one you can open point to this one: 173.192.18.194 So also if you see the same IP address doesn't mean are hosted in the same server. Maybe the main server is used to route connections to other servers.
Sites hosted at Godaddy get infected with viruses from the inside. My friend had a site hosted there and a few days after it was uploaded someone inserted code into her web pages, effectively killing the website since it would not run with the mystery code. When I visited via ftp I noticed the date changed on some files and found the line of code added to the bottom. As soon as the bad code was removed the site was fine again. The worse thing was that her other sites that were simple html did not crash and infected her and her friends that visited. Godaddy shared hosting is not safe, it seems there are people that can roam around everyone's folders on the server and insert code and change websites, it is crazy.
I need to quote and agree with cerno, this are also problem not new for HostGator and GoDaddy, but for the moment let's see if we can help him (or her) just trying possible solutions instead of promoting an hosting changement.
