I'm not sure exactly what you're asking. But frankly, if you know nothing about the law, you shouldn't be running a site on that topic. Disclaimer or not, there's a difference between an honest mistake or outdated info on a site and sheer negligence. That's of no value to readers whatsoever.

If what you're asking is can you compile information on other sites and publish it on yours, the answer is no - that's not okay according to copyright laws. You must get the copyright holder's permission in every case or they must grant a license (like when you get an article from an article directory).

It is difficult to determine exactly what you are doing on your website, but from what I think I understand, some of what you want is legal and some is not.

I'm not sure what you mean by profiles, but things like: address, name, phone number, specialty, etc... are not protected. You can certainly have a listing like that no matter where you gather the info from. The reason is that those are simply facts.

Now, if by profile you mean some sort of description, you would either need permission for those or write them yourself.

Laws themselves can also be displayed without obtaining permission, but any review or discussion of them would need to be written by you (or permission obtained).

News and events among the lawyers or laws can be reported on, but again the text would need to be written for (or by) you or permission obtained.

jh is correct though, if you don't know much about the law, your site will not be super helpful except as a directory. But there are several sites that list and rank lawyers. And then there is always the good old yellow pages.
