I can't see it where I am but apparently it's underway.

You can read about it on the thread at http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=920835.

Does PR updated already? Hmm... Have you check your PR using different tools? There might be just a slight problem on some PR checker like search status and SEO open.

Everywhere even in Toolbar, it's showing PR2 only. It was a old blog with PR4 and some PR5 internal pages. Every page dropped by 2 in rank.:(

If you are looking for google PR........ Google has an algorithm to calculate PR.....

Google will decide how much you will get.. you can get more sites like http://pr.blogflux.com ....... these are useless

In response to PR dropping because of selling links - it doesnt have to mean you actually sold links, it could just be perceived that way. Putting links on a homepage could be "preceived" as selling links. There are tons of things like this that articles published by so-called Google gurus. I in fact had a PR4 site that I added about 10 (I wanted to limit it to 10) PR4 3 way exchanges (10 PR4s should have helped by ranking right?) and the site dropped to a PR3.

I believe it was due to a perception that I paid for links to my site. This is why Google gurus have also stated that varying the types of links back to you replicate a more natural appearances of unsolicited links to your site. So if you site isnt also linked to by PR0, 1 and 2 sites, it might appear they were solicited or paid for.

I dont think Google really cares if you are profiting from the links, they just dont like the fact that they are "arranged" somehow and not natural.

pr is not at all a big problem .... i mean its easy to achieve a pr of 4 .what matters is the quality content and the seo techniques.

iWebTool reported some of my sites as PR 15 and PR 35. That's not possible. Many of the PR checking tools are broken and offer no ability to predict PR.

If you want to predict a PR update, keep an eye on the Google Directory. Once the PR updates there, it normally follows within the week...

Google PR is i think a waste of time. Why.... ? You can try and get a high pr but somebody with a pr2 will usually out rank! Go for content, quality, and high quality back links.. dont put all your efforts on pr

Having a high PR does not mean you no longer have to target keywords. That's what SEO is all about. And in competitive niches, PR and good keyword targeting are needed to rank for popular keywords...

Not so , traffic SERPS and toolbar PR are now in different trends and calculations. My pr1 websites has 10 times more SERPS and traffic than pr5.
