    I have a website, and I'm willing to pay you for your suggestions on how to make it better.

    I've worked on this website for a long time for my client, and I want to make it better.

    I am posting the domain in a non-backlinkable format, so please format it properly. The domain is www.c*ustom*pi*eces.com (remove all *). It will re-direct to the proper domain.

    Please tell me anything that you think I should change to make it a more functional website, easier to use, or better looking

    Why do you want to change it?, I think you have a really classy and elegant looking site :)

    Haven't been through all the links, pages (short on time), but I like the design :)

    Some suggestions:

    # How about adding an image under "Atlanta's Premium Jeweler"? I feel there should be one there.

    # The MySpace link doesn't work.

    # Add a Captcha to the contact form to hold spammers back.

    # The Icebox logo should link to the home page (even when there's a Home button below, but believe me people will try and click it).

    # The "Recent work" area should contain a link like "more of our work" or "see the rest of our work".

    Hope that helps ;)

    >> I presume that's so his paying client doesn't know he is out seeking help ..

    ////

    It's a nice looking site - but, your featured gallery styled header is totally useless in my opinion and wasting valuable space to showcase the products above the fold.

    I would make your gallery page "look" to be your front page - without the header ... and put the "about" teaser and an image of the Bro's on the sidebar .. below the large image, still have that first line of links (all, custom, watches, rings, other) but instead of a gallery on the front, of thumbnails - convert that into a strolling filmstrip type of view. The bottom of that first row of images should all be above the fold so visitors can see what this site is all about. That big featured picture can probably be cut down to be 350-400px height max.

    This is the type of site that below that filmstrip, can have the blog portion (summary 3 posts i.m.h.o.) or one of those PGDN almost a full viewed screen of a footer, with more about the family, the store, the location, recent blog post, comments, links to myspace, twitter, etc, and something like a privacy statement or if you take visa, paypal, and other accepting payment methods.

    First, in regards of ranking, what does Google see: First it sees the title, and
    the word Icebox. Then the word home, the word custom, used 3 times and the word diamond used 4 times. I think the words icebox and
    home is making no use at all. The are early in the title line som they just
    take room for better keywords.

    Better keyword matching approach in the title and content. Some keywords can be included in the content in a natural way. If we look in the Adwords keyword tool, for diamond(s), jewelry and jeweler, in the phrase match type, these are the most searched phrases;
    "diamond"
    "jewelry"
    "diamonds"
    "jewelers"
    "jewellers"
    "body jewelry"
    "fashion jewelry"

    hey i think you should add a background image to your website it will look more attractive. and yeah you should increase your keyword density for your keywords so that anyone can be able to visit your website :)
