    Hi Friends,
Everyday, I get stats like these from CJ,this is going on since last one week when i decided to try with CJ:

    Quick Stats Edit, Hide
    Web Site All web sites
    Period Yesterday
    Commission earned $0.00 USD
    Sales 0
    Leads 0
    Clicks 39
    Impressions 58,440
    CTR 0.07%
    EPM N/A
    EPC $0.00 USD

    Code (markup):
I have no idea what i need to do to make money from CJ...your ideas would be appreciated.

I think CPC ads are better atleast they pay for the clicks then these affiliates who just take up so much space on the website and pay nothing.

    Thanks

Maybe try experimenting with a new product and see if your users would be interested in that. 59000 impressions per day is incredible, and your clicks are good as well, if CJ doesn't work out, you should definately switch over to CPC because maybe that's what your users would want.

Hmm... way too many ads. You might get better performance if you cut the number of ads you are displaying in half. Just my 2 cents anyway.

No, thats the thing...I do not want to cut the ads. Even I have not placed adsense, adbrite etc there and i am mainly concentrating on CJ....

I just want to see how to earn from CJ and if it works well apply the same strategy to my other websites. I know CPC works but i don't understand how to earn from affiliate marketing. I am not even able to start the account even after having so many impressions and also reasonable number of clicks.

I blog about cricket and you're showing a bunch of web hosting affiliates, there's your problem.

Yea man, ANY ads would be better then webhosting. Imagine it like a real world scenario, if you walk into a cricket store and all that's inside is one cricket item and the rest are computers, you would leave right away. Just make it be about sports. Maybe cricket ads, cricket outfits, gear, etc. Even if you can't find directly about cricket, find at least SPORTS ads, because that will keep interest in your site.

How about doing it the other way around?

Pick the program you want to promote, then build a website to promote it.
You want to promote web hosting then your website should have information/content related to web hosting.

Hope you can understand why. It's very simple. You need to understand this step.

There could be dozens of reasons you are not getting any conversions. What is the source of your traffic.

If you buy traffic or use a traffic exchange you will get hardly any conversion. I get great conversion and click through since all of my traffic is targeted and I work on creating great keywords, and have excellent on page and off page SEO.

It seems that there are specific Cricket-related stores that you might explore ad development with. For example: Rajusports.com, ProCricketGear.com, stuartsports.com, tigersportsuk.com. Also, you might consider ads related to India or Pakistan (per example). This is all in line with what DEPOTGANG was saying.

LOL I have to laugh at this :|

He is marketing webhosting to criket pplz. And advertising widgetbucks to criket pplz....

Advertise sporting stuff or things like that, that are on the niche not sumthing completely irrevelant.

You cant just full a page with spam... as you have done... and ask why it isnt making money.

I mean... you went there for criket... wy would you give a damn about webhosting or widgetbucks.. i mean... think dude.

All I see is ads on that page, where is the actual content?

All you need is some animated gifs and you're set.
