    I don't believe you can have adsense on a .wordpress site. You will need your own hosting.

    I would just fork over some cash for a domain and hosting now. Neither are very expensive and both will pay off in the long run.

    I agree. If you insist on free hosting.. go with blogger. Adsense setup is a snap, and it will be good practice for when you finally decide to go with paid hosting. ;)
