Hi guys Ok Here it is: Once I got my keywords, I will place them in Title, h1 tags, Meta keywords/Descriptions, Contents. Is that it? Then What? Then how does Google or any SE knows or finds out that they are keywords? Does Search Engines looks at Title, h1 tags, Meta keywords/Descriptions for the Keywords? I am sorry If I am unable to put my question correctly, But I am sure you guys got it.
You seem to have a good idea about onpage SEO. The most important would be the Page Title, Meta Description, Header Tags (H1, H2) and make sure you use the keyword a few times in the content.
Then, the other part of the puzzle is placing your keywords in links that point to your page. If you have a good match rate between onpage and offpage incidence of the keyword, you will rise in the ranking for that keyword.
Hi Thank you for the help, I am still little confuse.. Lets say I have 10 keywords targeting my websites then, I will place them in Meta tags,Meta Descriptions and contents. But what about the Title, How do I know which keyword to put in Title? Because Too many words in Title doesnt look Good. Do I choose Most Competitive keyword or Less in title?? Many thanks agian
^^ Each page should only target 2-3 keywords at most. Look at each page as an entry door to your website. The homepage should be targeting the primary keywords for your site, the on the other pages target the less common phrases.
HI again.. oK lets say I have an web directory. It has many categories like others directory has. What keywords I should choose for Front or Index Page? Does it depends on URL?, Do I really need to Optimize the web directory? I have seen some directories which doesn't have contents ie Descriptions or Articles of the site in their whole page, they just have categories.Yet they rank so well, How is that? Do I need to choose separate keywords for each category page in my directory? Thanks for helping again
If you don't optimize you won't get any search engine traffic. The keywords meta tags are useless but having unique titles is helpful.
