Rather than hunting for the one cent clicks you need to work out what type of user will be interested in your site and target them directly, it may cost a little more but will be worthwhile in the longrun.

You can get penny clicks from Russia or China, but they're probably the lowest converting clicks in the world. Which is why they cost a penny.

Setting your budget at a dollar per day is not going to get you anywhere.

Expecting or setting for $0.01 is not going to get you anywhere. You need to understand how the system works. A good place to start is with my Adwords FAQ.

You may set your CPC at $0.01 but you won't get clicks because there are thousands of other advertisers setting it higher for the exact same keywords. Also, if you're planning to advertise in the US, Canada where conversion rates are good, it certainly would cost you much more than in other countries. My advice would be, try targeting your market, set a high CPC if you're confident of getting high conversion, and your total cost would actually become cheaper when you do appropriate targeting.

In a way, you have to start aggressive to get a seat at the table with the established AdWords advertisers. Otherwise, your ads won’t show, you don’t get clicks, and you don’t build up a high quality score. Worse, if you don’t start strong, you end up in a “doom loop” vs. a “money loop.”

Glad to hear that you found our test results helpful. Will be sharing more shortly.

Don't go around worrying for cheap clicks. Set a budget, think about what keywords your target market is searching for, and then see how they will cost and how much you can manage.
$2000 for a good car/house is cheap. $.20 for a piece of dust is expensive.
