    For basic SEO, you can start with 3 simple things:

    -Write quality content that you update on a regular basis.

    -Use good keyords and keyword phrases in your content (words and phrases people might use on a search engine to find your site).

    -Create quality backlinks to your site on forums, social networks, and other sites that allow it.

    honestly, if your new to im, none of the above recommendations would help you.
    my advice to you is to make sure you try to push your limits, from a project to another ...and... never give up on the goal of making money from im, as taugh it may seem.
