    I see so many posts like this and my question is 'do you have a good quality site to submit?' It would be more helpful if you posted it in the correct category (Solicitations) and included the site url you want to submit, then directory owners could decide whether to reply or not. I'm always on the lookout for good sites to add to my directory and have often added sites freely from these forums.

    If you want good as well as quick approval of your submissions then you should have to go with paid directories. You can go with Yahoo, Business, Killer Startup etc.

    dmoz is quite good, why not use it. yes, there are so many free directory.
