There are many different types of eCommerce software you can use for your online store. Some popular platfoms are Magento, Sopify, BigCommerce, Presta, etc. but I prefer EasyStoreHosting.
I have tried it, and it genuinely works.
The best thing is that provide "technical support service" free of cost.
So you have to do anything by yourself, just shoot a mail to them, they will do it for you.

The most important thing to do is to figure out what you need in an e-commerce system.
Once you figure all that out, now you have something to research. You go and test demos of all the products then decide it.

Various CMS platforms are available out there that can provide you any kind of website what you can think for.
But when it comes to eCommerce, Magento is the one that is widely accepted and used by many online stores.
So my vote goes to Magento.

    Hope this help! :)

Hi, a quality to look for when choosing an ecommerce solution is integration with other webapps. I encourage you to have a closer look at Magento, Shopify and Bigcommerce, which all have good integration options to CRM, accounting and email marketing solutions. No one has the time to re-type the same data in different places, by saving time you save money.

There's a lot of good information in this thread -- but knowing a bit more about you and your selling operation can help us give you even BETTER information!

Do you have a lot of coding/programming experience? What kind of store are you planning to start? What are your plans in terms of size and scope? These will all affect the answer when it comes to which out-of-the-box webstore app is right for you.

Magento is great because it's a very blank slate right out of the box. The Community Edition is free and open-sourced. This is great in terms of pricing, but also means that there is very little in the way of official support. You can find a ton of help all over the Internet, though, and there are a lot of great forums and message boards. You can also find and work with a licensed Magento developer to get your site looking and feeling exactly the way you want it.

Bigcommerce is another great turnkey shopping cart solution. It's a bit more out-of-the-box than Magento is, which is why it's paid. Their pricing is pretty fair, though, as far as I'm concerned, and they make it REALLY easy to create an AWESOME-looking store right out of the gate. Plus, they have a ton of responsive themes, which is an enormous plus in this age of mobile commerce.

    Hope this helps!

The best one I have found is Shopify. But I would also suggest that you do not discount Amazon Associates and also eBay Stores. When you are looking at an e-commerce solution you need to think about what you are selling or doing. If it is a virtual store where you are selling a product or something that you drop ship, then one of the ones I mentioned might be the way to go. The reason is that they are set up for new people and they make things easy. Also, they do not go down much. My final suggestion is that you do not go with the cheapest option just because of cost. Take your time when looking at these possible solutions and make sure that you understand how to use the shop and to make changes easily.

It depends upon your requirements. Easy and quick way is to use wordpress. It has very easy and user friendly admin section but I do not like its reporting system. WP is best if you need a highly customized ecommerce site.
If you want a normal online store with standard flow, then open cart, prestashop, big commerce and interspire is best option. Interspire is closed but I still have its membership. As a web developer, i normally use interspire for ecommerce sites.
