I am looking for an alternative to google analytics

I don't think there is any free alternative to Google Analytics. And better visitor tracking try some paid alternates like Omniture, Web Trends

 

There are lots of alternates available online. Like webstats, sitemeter etc.. find one convenient to you. Awstats also works fine..

Well for me I think Google Analytics is already nice tool. A good tool for analyzing traffic.

I've really been having luck with HiStats, however I just don't believe it's quite as accurate as Analytics. As a general alternative however, it can't be beat from the alternatives I've tried. This includes Piwik, gostats, and a few other popular options.

 

I would recommend that you go for web-stats.I am currently using that after disabling google analytic.it is simply awesome and gives you the real time data
