I am looking for a Windows VPS or a small dedicated server I am currently looking into http://vpsland.com/xlwin.html , first plan, seems pretty nice price but I am not sure they are providing any control panel with it. Anyway, My req are 40GB+ Space 1 TB+ Bandwidth 2 IPs min HELM Control Panel ( I don't want plesk please ) 512 MB - 1 GB RAM Price : $50-$80 ( I am not sure the price is too low , please suggest if you got a good spec server ) Also, please mention about MSSQL database Thanks in advance Vivek
Helm renting license costs around $40 itself I believe. I doubt you can find out any good offer. If it's unmanaged, you might need to double your budget to $150 at least. If it's managed, the budget should be around $300. MSSQL is much more expensive with its license.
Qualityhosting, If you are in a need of MS SQL Standard, you can expect to pay around $250/mo for the license alone. I would also recommend staying away from HELM as Parallels bought that company our and pretty much left it. If you read their forums at webhostautomation.com you'll see why you should stay clear from them. My recommendation is DotNetPanel, far better. Thanks for the replies, I used Plesk before and don't want to use it anymore. eukhost, your vps seems pretty big for me , it cost around $116 w/o control panel Speedy059 : $115 with cp I need something low , one guy offered me (from DP) HELM with 40GB for $80 per month, P4,1gb ram. Not sure he is reliable or not, I will consider other offers too
Which dedicated server are you interested in? We also offer Windows 2003 VPS's that start at 19.99/mo. Keep in mind the software is a steal if you don't already have smartertools software.

Well, lower will be better as I am not looking for hosting clients sites, but for some other purpose. But will be hosting some clients just for balancing the server cost.
