I am looking for a lightweight forum script

    Hello everyone,
I am looking but have yet to find a lightweight forum script (one that is not dependant on a users table).

I already have my user account creation, registration, login, etc created, and I would like to drop in a small forum system (one that doesn't need to create a seperate data table). I just want to be able to feed the script the current users id/name etc.

I am starting to think what I am looking for is almost too "lightweight", seeing as how I really only need to view forums / post messages.

I don't need the view user profile, whos online etc etc.

What I am looking for will probobly be more of a class then an actual application.

If anyone knows of anything similiar to this, please let me know!

If not, I guess I'll just have to write my own (I am hoping to try and not keeping "kicking the dead horse" so to speak.)

    Thank you very much

Phorum still has to much to it. I hate the way the templating is on that one too :)

It would be great if I didn't already have a session management system, or a template to my site yet.

    Thanks for the try though!

phpjunkyard has a really light one. It might even be too light for your purpose.

Yeah that is pretty light. No forums, just one area I guess. I will probably just code it myself. It shouldn't be much more then a 10 hour job if anything so
