As far as I can tell its not illegal anywhere, please direct me to proof that it is illegal. I live in a suburb of Ft Worth, Tx and they don't even have an anti-hacking law here (I'm not saying the city nor will I tell you if you ask). I had a website that was hacked recently (back in June) and when I tried to file the report the officer that came to my house asked what was stolen - he didnt even know what 'hacking' was. He then referred me to the FBI.
Assuming you know what a cookie is... A "cookie stuffer" embeds cookies into websites so that when they visit your website they get your cookie. So if you are an affiliate of ebay or amazon and someone goes to your website that surfer will get your ebay and amazon cookie. Now if that same surfer goes to amazon or ebay later and buys something, you'll get credit for the sale and the commission from it.
Sorry, having technical issues... A "cookie stuffer" embeds cookies into websites so that when a surfer visits your website they get whatever cookies are 'stuffed' in your website. So if you are an affiliate of ebay or amazon and someone goes to your website that surfer will get your ebay and amazon cookie. Now if that same surfer goes to amazon or ebay later and buys something, you'll get credit for the sale and the commission from it. This is a common practice among 'coupon' or 'promo code' websites.
