Best Movie this Year for sure... I've seen them All of the Major movies release this year... and This one, Overcome all of them...
I saw this movie on Thursday midnight. I didn't think it was that good. Not enough action. And it was too short.
i heard from 4 people that it was a great flick so I am going to check it out. what did you not like about it? without giving away any plot points if possible
I thought it was OK...I was really getting into it when he first saw the vampires, where they had their back to him, but then I think they showed too much of them and they looked stupid. Crappy computer graphics I think. I liked how they focused on him being totally alone and wanted more of that honestly, I didn't want a ton of action. I wanted to see something were it all about living life completely and utterly alone. Oh well.
It was a very good movie. but you have to know why. It was excellent at showing the last man on earth and his severed connection to humanity, his last threads of civilized behavior being cut. I wish the monsters weren't cgi though, real actors would have been more effective and cheaper. smith does a friggin excellent job of carrying the whole thing by himself. I wish it would have ended differently. watch Last Man on Earth (Vincent Price) or The Omega Man (Charlton Heston) and you're in for some good comparisons.
