    I am interested in setting up a forum can someone give info on how? I run and maintain other websites but know nothing about setting up a forum... Any cookie cutter ways of doing this easy?

    You need to look for a profile manager or a membership site creator. Try Interlogy. They're sort of new but they have promising applications and softwares you might need.

    There are good paid and free forum scripts. You can use them. They are easy to install and you can find more tutorials about them by visiting their official websites.
