Hi all, Thanks for your Valuable comments. also for some harsh words. It is all part of learning experience. To senior members: i agree that i am new to link building and seo. but there is always a start. I dont mind your harsh words but tell me didnt any one of you all face similar problems in their begining of the carrier? I have never told myself as an expert in SEO. The only reason i had hit the panic button was because at that time client was over demanding and totally incooperative, now the client has understood the situation and he is ready to co-operate with me. Also good news is " all the pages of the site" are indexed by msn. i have prepared certain articlles and will be posting it in various article sites. Again i have no offence with senior members because they all are very much experienced than me. I am also learning all the fundas of seo and link building and as far as taking the project is concerned, there is always some start needed so why not this one??
what i can suggest... 1. try to learn as much as possible and as quickly as possible over the next couple of days - so that you can at least talk sense 2. go and discuss with the customer again - inform him that his expectations are not correct 3. ask him how he wants to proceed - [1] continue but with proper expectations (if he chooses this path, you better do some proper work) or [2] terminate the project
That's true, but I spent 5 years working on my own sites before even thinking of selling my services to others. It's your job as an SEO to make your client aware of the timeframe and costs before you even agree to take the job. Spend some time reading up on link building and page optimisation, you'll find it'll be well spent
